MASTER WORKSHOP WITH LUCAS BLALOCK
In this workshop, participants will have their work appraised by Masters whose work, individually, has been innovative and influential in shaping culture. Each involved will have their body of work appraised for strengths and weaknesses and benefit from a conversation amongst the other participants. The workshop is limited to ten, and participants will be chosen on the strength of their work and its promise. Forthcoming workshops with Laurie Simmons, Adam Fuss, Alastair McKimm, Penelope Umbrico, James Kaliardos, Roe Ethridge, Jaime Hawkesworth, Paul Mpagi Sepuya and others.

Lucas Blalock received an undergraduate degree from Bard Collage and an MFA from UCLA. Solo exhibitions of his work have occurred at Ramiken Crucible in New York, White Cube in London and Rodolphe Janssen in Brussels. Lucas has created five self-published books of the work, and the photographs have also appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Frieze and Aperture. He is on the faculty of Sarah Lawrence College.
